Blue Screen Death when applying Microsoft updates
The only time I've ever seen the famous "Blue screen of death" was on an NT4 OS. Still, the solution there may work on other OSs. Check your swap file size. I would find it strange that you need a larger vitrual memory file while playing the game unless you are running a host of other programs on the side.
